Submit homework through Canvas, but all email communication should be sent to my WVC email.

I will have Zoom office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00. If these times do not work for you, email me and we can arrange a Zoom call at a different time. My Zoom number is 225-820-5728.

When & Where

This is an asynchronous class, meaning that we will not meet at a specific time like a regular face-to-face class. All instruction will be through Canvas.

Textbooks

There are no books to buy. All materials will be available here on Canvas or sent to you by the instructor.

Computer Access

Students are expected to do work on a computer or tablet, not on a smart phone. Video recordings can be done on a phone, but that is all. If you need a tablet, the WVC library has them for you to borrow. Open this link or call 509-682-6710 (Wenatchee) or 509-422-7830 (Omak).

Attendance

Attendance will be taken by using the Teacher-Verification Model. This means that each assignment will be given a certain amount of time, which will be equated to the number of credit hours in the course. This will be shown in Canvas for each assignment.

Late Assignments or Quizzes

Assignments that are handed in late within one week of the due date will have ten percent deducted from the score. Assignments turned in after one week will lose 10% per day. Only unusual situations will be excused. The instructor may ask for documentation for why assignments are not handed in on time or at all.
